SOUND THERARPY

SOUND THERAPY

Sound healing is an ancient practice. It uses various vibrations and frequencies to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve physical and mental well-being.  It is based on the principle that everything in the universe is made up of energy and vibration, and that sound can be used to balance and harmonize this energy. It works by using specific frequencies to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms by inducing different brainwave states. When we are exposed to it, our bodies naturally want to match the frequency or vibration we are experiencing.  Different frequencies have different healing effects, and sound healers use various instruments to produce these frequencies. Sound healing has evolved to offer a wide range of options for those interested in exploring the benefits of this practice.

Cynthia specializes in playing a harmonized set of Quartz Crystal Sing Bowls.

Quartz crystal bowls assist us in entering the Theta and Delta Brainwave states. In Theta our senses are withdrawn from the external world and focused on signals originating from within. It is the realm of the subconscious mind where you can experience visualizations, great inspiration, spirituality, profound creativity and exceptional insight. When the Delta state is stimulated we enter into healing and regeneration for our mind and physical body.

Each bowl is tuned to major energy centers or “chakras’ that lie within our bodies. This helps to balance and realign the chakra energy so that you feel more stabilized and have a greater feeling of clarity and connection to your self on every level.

Sound baths (or immersing in sound) can offer a range of benefits including, but not limited to: stress reduction, improved sleep, pain relief, boosted energy levels, lower blood pressure, enhanced creativity and intuition, and greater emotional balance. It can also be helpful for those experiencing depression, anxiety, or PTSD as it can help release emotional and mental blockages held within the body. This leads to a sense of overall well-being.

Other instruments offered include: drums, gongs, Tibetan singing bowls (metal), chimes, bells, tuning forks, indigenous wooden flutes, rattles, and vocals.

Also offered: Guided meditations, breathwork meditations, sound and vocal workshops, educational speaking on a variety of topics

Available for private in home, private group gathering, or corporate group sessions and retreats.
